Beliefs

Your beliefs shape your life.

If you don't believe that you could do something then why would you even attempt it.

If you feel you hold a belief that is not serving you then consider following the belief shift process

I got this procedure from Tanya Cross,

Belief Shift

1. What is your belief?

What specifically are you believing to be true about your current circumstances which is in the way of moving forward? Be specific.

I.e. Family is everything

2. What is the fantasy the belief is driving?

This is unpacking the belief further, looking at it in a reverse psychological way.

I.e I should be there for family all the time.

3. Where is 1. & 2. not true?

Name places, times, events and people you know where this belief is not true. Keep answering until you shatter the belief and see, know and feel that the belief is no longer true.

4. What do you believe to have missed from believing the now old belief to be true?

Every belief you have means that something was missing from your experience. Be specific. There many be a one or many.

Example 1

I'm not good enough

Missing

Not feeling good enough

Missing

Not being told I'm beautiful

Missing

Not achieving results

Example 2

Family is everything

Missing

Not having a life of my own

Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I shall have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even if I may not have it at the beginning.
~ Mahatma Gandhi

5. Where did you experience it?

Nothing is missing, it's in a form you haven't recognized. Pick the top charge in question 4. Find where you did experience this until you see, feel and know it wasn't missing.

6. What's the belief you want to have now?

Be specific, realistic, balanced in your belief that fit in universal laws. Don't write I want to be positive and happy all the time. It's a fantasy and not possible.

I.e. I am there for my family when it's appropriate for me and my family.

I follow systems to magnetize clients and money to me.

I am successful in business when I enjoy what I do and focus on performing to my best ability.

7. Link your new belief to what is most important to you and all areas of life. (30-50)

Create a new pathway for a belief that will serve you to where you want to go and what you want to achieve. Link this so you create connections, purpose and drive to your new belief.

The more links the better because it's more engrained in you.

Do it until you see, feel and know the new belief is now true.

8. Meditate on your new belief for five mins for seven consecutive days.

Set a timer for five minutes. Recite your new belief, ponder it, focus on it for 5 full minutes. If your mind wanders, and it will, bring it back and keep doing the exercise.
