To get from where we are to where we want to go, we will need to bridge some gaps.

When pursuing your dreams you may find times when you think that you just won't make it.

You may feel you are simply not good enough.

That you don't have the skills, talents, resources, connections that others have.

Argue for your limitations and they are yours to keep

Have you ever considered the time and space in your mind you are allocating to your perceived limitations?

What would happen if instead of arguing for your limitations you affirmed in your mind how you would love your life to be?

Ok, you have probably heard of affirmations. Repeating words and phrases to yourself in your mind.

This is a proven technique and can have a profound impact on your life, as it has for mine.

Some of the most successful and well known people in the world use affirmations daily

I have included some here

''I am youthful and timeless at every age'' Jennifer Lopez
"I am a genius and I apply my wisdom, everything I read I retain" Dr John Demartini
"I am a remarkable man, capable of remarkable things" J.Edgar Hoover
"I am the greatest" Muhammed Ali

Affirmations v Positive Thinking

When creating your affirmations make sure they are both possible and probable.

Positive thinking alone will not get you where you want to go in life

Balanced thinking is required to achieve your goals so ensure that your affirmations are possible and probable to see results.

Possible means that they don't contradict universal laws.

If you think you will have a life without challenges or that you will always be happy, this violates universal law and is impossible.

An improbability is something that doesn’t match your values. So if your highest value is building and refining your business and you set an affirmation to spend all your time meditating you would be unlikely to see that come true.

If your highest value was raising a family and have no business or business experience and you set an affirmation to be a CEO then again it’s improbable.

Also don’t expect your affirmations to just magically show up in your life. If you’re not willing to work for it, then it’s not high on your values and is a fantasy.

You manifest into your life that which is highest on your values.

Your mind is a fertile garden. Fill it with flowers or it will fill up with weeds

Instead of one-sided affirmations, consider affirmations that are dual sided and realistic.

I have included a number of affirmations that I am using.

Create your own or use the ones that resonate with you and put in your plan

These are affirmations that I say to myself daily

“Whether I am supported or challenged I am grateful as I know I need both to reach my destiny”

“I am a billionaire, multi-millionaire money magnet”

“I’m a magnet for money I have more than I need, I’m a magnet for money, money, money loves me”

“No matter what I have done or not done I am worthy of love”

“I’m always in the right place at the right time to meet the right people to fulfil my destiny”

“when life is tough, I’m tougher”

“I know my values; I know my mission”

“I prioritise every minute of my life because I am worth it”

“I can change my habits as I am in control of my life”

“I have infinite capacity to learn and infinite capacity to serve”

“There is no challenge too big that I can’t overcome”

“I am the master of my destiny. I direct and control my life. I make my life how I want it to be”

“Support and challenge keep me on mission. When there is no way forward, I make a way. I am unstoppable”

There is no set amount to say your affirmations, I recommend at the start to memorise all your affirmations by repeating them 10 times minimum and if you can put them to a tune in your head it helps as well.

Don’t absent mindedly say them to your self. Concentrate. Feel the result you are creating.

You don’t need to share these with anyone else unless you choose to.

When your inactive, even for a second, fill your mind with how you would love your life to be, or wait for it to fill with worry
